DT007 Sensor Sheet
|
Type: Current Adapter & Control Output |
Range: 4¸ 20 mA |
Sensor Description:
The DT007 is used as an adapter to industrial sensor with an output of 4¸ 20 mA, it is also used as a control system, using a digital switch connected to the Logger’s control output. Using the DT007 you can record data from industrial sensors you already have, and also create a systems that will sense a parameter and control the activation of a device. (e.g. Temperature sensor and cooling fan). The DT007 is using Fourier Systems Egg Shaped sensor case, and has two durable Banana shaped plugs.
How it works:
The DT007 should be connected to the sensor you wish to use. Inside the adapter there is a 250W resistor. According to Ohm’s law, measuring the voltage in the resistor will give a result between 0.1¸ 5 Volts, which is the range accepted by the Analog-Digital converter. The proper result is than recorded into the Data Logger’s memory. To use the DT007 as a control device connect it to the Data Logger using a control cable. To the second output connect the controlled device (e.g. a cooling fan). Set the measured value in which you wish the device to be activated in. The controlled device will be activated according to the set value measured by the sensor.
Calibration:
The DT007 is calibration is automatically calibrated. No calibration is needed.
What is it used for:
The DT007 is used as an adapter to industrial sensors using the 4¸ 20 mA output standard. These sensors connect to the Data Logger using the adapter for data recordings or control systems. Among the uses of the DT007 are a pressure sensor and valve control, a temperature sensor and a cooling fan control, or a light sensor and lamp control.
