DT110/111 Sensor Sheet

Type:
Control Switch

DT 110 (NC)
DT 111 (NO)

How it works:

The control switch is connected to the same MultiLog output than the sensor and opens or closes an electrical circuit passing a certain predefined value.

How to use the Control switch:

  1. Connect a splitter cable to the MultiLog.
  2. Connect your sensor to one of the splitter cable outputs.
  3. Connect the egg-shaped sensor case of the control switch to the second splitter cable output.
  4. Define your sensor either by using the MultiLog keypad or the Control panel in DBLab.
  5. Define Control Level by either pressing the Trigger key on the MultiLog keypad until the display reads 'Control level' or by choosing Control Level from the Type listbox in the 'Trigger section'.
  6. Choose the 'switching value' by pressing the Level button (right beyond the Trigger button) until you reach the desired value. You can define the 'switching value' also by double clicking the desired value from the Level listbox in the 'Trigger section'.
  7. Click OK, If you defined the control switch through the DBLab interface. The Control Panel closes.

What is it used for:

The control switch is for example used to process a heat source (as a simple thermostat), to open or close a light source according to the environmental light intensity. It might furthermore be used to mark the turning point in a titration by opening a lamp upon passing this point.
